Display vampire drain rate for my vehicle

mkolowich 7 years ago updated by gaborivanszky 5 months ago 30

Helping car owners to understand/estimate vampire drain would be a major help. This could be done in several ways:

  • with data display (I.e. when idle, display current vampire drain rate [lost range, in miles/day] in top status bar)
  • with graph (i.e. show bar graph of vampire drain rate [lost miles / day] for different connection states (connected, sleep, deep sleep))

Even more importantly, I think it would be a great service to run a regression, across the entire database, to discover exactly what influence each of the following has (if any) on vampire drain rate [lost miles / day]:

  • connection state (connected, sleep, deep sleep)
  • state of charge (current % charge level)
  • outside temperature
  • battery size (kWh max capacity)
  • car model (S, X, SP, XP, 3)
  • time since last charge

The results would help car owners understand exactly how to minimize vampire drain on their car, and to understand, for example, how much vampire drain to expect when, say, parking their car at the airport during a three-week vacation

    Image 5540

  • Added the ability to search by notes in the Drive Search & Download page.

Corrections:

  • Road trip maps were displaying excluded data points from drives.
  • The return to previous page link when editing locations was not working as expected.
  • Charge and drive detail pages next and previous links would allow for viewing drives/charges not yet performed.

Battery Degradation Report For the fleet?

rticknor 5 years ago updated by Wunderlag 4 months ago 33

It would be cool to see an aggregated report of Battery Degradation for the whole fleet for each battery type.

My model 3 Long range charges to a 100% max of 282 miles... i'd like to know if that's normal for 10% degradation on a 11 month old car or if i'm an outlier.

weird sleep pattern: car will be woken up after ~5-50min of sleep

lewurm 4 years ago updated by Mrklaw 3 years ago 79

Since 12/12/2019 my car only goes into sleep for a quick nap. It almost never sleeps longer than 50min anymore, wakes up for apparently no reason, and then goes into sleep after 40-45min again. First I thought it would be connected with the 2019.40.2.1 update. I reset my Tesla password and generated a new token for TeslaFi, so I would be sure that no other third party app (and even Tesla's app) doesn't interfere. That sleep pattern still showed up, so I contacted Tesla because I thought the car wakes up for some reason on its own (as I stated above, I thought it was connected with the update). However "Tesla Virtual Service" confirmed that the wake up reasons are due to a third party app. Since TesalFi was the only application at this point with a valid token... it must be TeslaFi. It is a bit surprising to me because there isn't anything visible in the raw data feed (e.g. an intended wake up call). Is this a known issue?

Here an example from 12/27/2019

Miles per kilowatt hour

hluder 6 years ago updated by JAS037 2 years ago 3
Hi James,
Many other EVs show their efficiency these days in miles per kilowatt hour.
Would it be possible to calculate and show this in the summary screen,so we can compare the Teslas to say Ioniq or Jaguar I-pace that is coming onto the market soon.
Thanks and Kind Regards
Heiko

Edit start/ending address

danshaw 6 years ago updated by Sir Watts-a-Lot 4 months ago 7

Is it possible to edit the starting address or ending address of a drive? Because I park in a parking garage, I do not have cell reception there. Sometimes my drives have me ending outside of the tagged location - sometimes blocks away. Curious how I can fix that.

Here is an example of me leaving the parking garage (large circle). Because the lack of cell reception, the car was first seen in a different location (small circle)

Hi,

A suggestion - it would be great if I could be able to see personal supercharging graphs like this:

E-mail supercharger invoices PDF

Richie B2B 12 months ago updated by jonasgr 11 months ago 2

Since TeslaFi already downloads the supercharger invoices and Tesla has no invoice notification at all, it would be great if TeslaFi can send the invoice PDF to the E-mail address(es) set in TeslaFi for notification.
