Schedule a charge that finishes at a specific time
I'd like to say that my car finishes charging at 7:00
I know, that you never know exactly, how fast even a constant charging will be.
But if I charge to less than 90% it should be possible to guess +/- 10 Minutes.
Thanks for all your effort.
Auto tagging locations
Would it be possible to have commonly known places alutomatically be geotagged and named. For example Superchargers, Service Centers, maybe even some iconic places like National Parks or Theme Parks. It seem like every user is adding the same places.
heat map
Love the new map showing all drives. Would it be possible for you to create a 'heat map' showing all logs on your website together? Would be awesome to see where Teslas are driving most
it would be nice to know how much energy was regenerated during a trip
I am just curious how much energy is regenerated during a trip by slowing down can that be shown?
Add a fleet report (scatter plot + regression) for battery degredation
The battery reports are great!
Please consider generating a fleet battery report similar to the MaxRange survey here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/t024bMoRiDPIDialGnuKPsg/htmlview#
It would be nice to see a global scatter plot and regression by mileage and cumulative charge power (kWh) along with being able to filter by model, battery capacity (lump S and X together), or cell type (S/X vs 3) though I know from looking at the statistics the data may get pretty thin on some of those slices though so you would have to see if it makes any sense.
Personally I am especially interested at understanding the impact of home vs supercharging. My degredation following the first year is relatively high compared to what is "normal" based on the MaxRange survey, and I would like to see if that data can be disambiguated.
Distance driven between charges
The longest drive listing would be much more useful for EVs if it was the longest distance driven between charges. My longest drives were limited by my bladder not the cars battery!
Adding temperature triggers to scheduled HVAC
It would be nice if the scheduled HVAC could have either internal or external temperature to trigger it to start or not.
For example, I leave at 8.00 for work, if the temperature is below 0°C at 7.30, the HVAC should start and clear the ice on the windshield.
Yearly Overview of Data
Have you thougt about a yearly overview of all data gathered.
Would be nice to see things like:
-total charge kW (at home, on the way, at Superchargers)
-number trips
-longest trips (Top 10)
-averages of all kind of data (Trip length, temp, efficency, charges... etc)
So many ideas. Maybe this is of interest for others, too.
Happy New Year from Germany.
Konrad.
Add "On-Arrival" at Location to Scheduler (as alternative to Day/Time)
Example:
Set up a location for my local Supermarket car park
Then create a Scheduler Event to turn Climate on when I Arrive/Park there. i.e. this is not a time-of-day event
Vacation Mode
The site should have a Vacation Mode to minimize vampire drain when the vehicle will not be in operation for any specified period of time. The hope will be that TeslaFi would only check the car periodically to allow it to sleep as much as possible while hopefully preventing range loss.
Possible options:
- Simple on/off toggle
- Users may accidentally forget to turn Vacation Mode off so perhaps an email reminder each day ("hey, your TeslaFi account is set to Vacation Mode, so you won't get any recorded drives").
- Schedule via dates and/or times (e.g. November 1 2pm until November 8 10am)
- This seems like the most direct and best method to handle this feature.
The only potential issue is how charging would work. If the Tesla API indicates scheduled charging, perhaps TeslaFi can resume polling at the start of that time to capture charging data.
